Rioja Estates
Rioja Estates is a leading Outlet specialist with over 30 years’ experience. It has developed many successful outlet schemes across the UK, and internationally. Its UK portfolio includes Designer Outlets for McArthurGlen in Bridgend, Swindon, and the East Midlands. April 2021 saw the launch of its most successful outlet opening to date – also in partnership with McAthurGlen – the Designer Outlet West Midlands, where construction of a second phase has recently been announced. Internationally, Rioja Estates was behind Premier Outlets Budapest, as well as a number of other leading European Outlets including the forthcoming Alpes the Style Outlets for Neinver.
The lead architect is Holder Mathias Architects. With over 50 years’ of experience working on retail schemes, Holder Mathias Architects are specialists in outlet destinations around the world, designing a spectrum of innovative retail outlets. Projects include several McArthurGlen Designer Outlets and One Fashion Outlet (Slovakia). Malmö Designer Village is further supported by other businesses, both international and Swedish, including award-winning architects, and management consultants SWECO and Ramboll.
Project management and client representation is delivered by Sustend. With an extensive experience working in development projects, Sustend are specialized in delivering sustainable and innovative development projects on the Swedish market.
